How to Help

Why don’t people know about the life-saving medications written about in A Prescription for Alcoholics – Medications for Alcoholism?

Why do alcoholics die every day without ever once being prescribed a potentially life-saving FDA-approved medication like acamprosate, naltrexone, topiramate or baclofen?

I went into great detail in the book, trying to answer this puzzling question.

A big part of the solution is simply education. It involves educating doctors, alcoholics, treatment professionals and the families and friends of those suffering with alcohol dependence.

Would you like to help?  You can do so easily by buying one or two or three or fifty copies of the book, and giving them away to any one of these individuals.

Or you can help without spending a dime – by giving your copy of the book away or sharing links to the book’s website with everyone you know, with your doctor, your friend, on your facebook page, by email, however you can.

One seemingly small action; a chance meeting, or the sharing of one piece of information with one individual in the grocery line can be an awesomely powerful thing. The link you share might even save someone’s life.
